Summary:
The Motorcycle Diaries is a foreign film about two young guys from Argentina who decide to take a road trip on a motorcycle traveling thousands of miles in order to meet people and end up volunteering at a leper colony. The two succeed in their goals as they have an interesting journey in which they encounter a variety of people and gain life experiences they carry with them forever.

Why You Should See This Movie:
This film is really a pretty good movie that has a lot going for it. Probably its strongest point is the writing and dialogue between the two main characters. The conversations are real and often hilarious and do a great job at demonstrating their relationship of friendship and loyalty. The film is mildly entertaining and directed well. The movie also has some great camera shots of the South American landscape. The plot wanders at times, but pulls things together very well at the end, with a surprising finish.

Why You Shouldn't See This Movie:
The movie is entirely in subtitles, so if that is too cumbersome for you, you probably shouldn?t waste your time. Also, the dialogue is a bit foul at times and could offend some. It is also a film that is presented in a bit of a documentary style and could be seen as boring by some.

Conclusion:
If you don?t mind the subtitles and the foul language, the Motorcycle Diaries is an interesting film with good acting and directing performances that presents a good story.
